High-detail digital documentation of museum artifacts
The project included photogrammetric capturing of 40 ancient artifacts from Tustan Museum. SPM3D used several DSLR cameras together with automatic rotating tables to record each object from controlled angles with dense overlap and stable geometry.
This workflow is well suited for small heritage objects because it captures fine surface relief, material texture and fragile details without physical contact. The final detail level was less than 0.1 mm, allowing the artifacts to be inspected, archived and presented as interactive 3D models.
The resulting Sketchfab collection makes the museum artifacts accessible for research, education and public presentation while preserving a precise digital record of the original objects.
