Architectural and MEP project
The pumping station modelling project was divided into two coordinated parts: the architectural component of the building and the engineering MEP systems. Architecture was modelled in ArchiCAD at LOD 300, while the engineering MEP part was implemented in Autodesk Revit at LOD 250.
This approach produced a complete 3D model that could serve both architects and engineers. Architects can use the model for analysis, design decisions and forecasting building features, while engineers can calculate, edit and document internal systems using a reliable model of the existing object.
Processing took 21 days. The final product was a combined 3D model of the pumping station, with architecture at LOD 300 and MEP systems at LOD 250.
